29 days to 40!

So,this is my continuation thread to the previous one.

As I progress towards my race to the

40s,I wanted to write about a few people who added value to these years (whether they are or are not in my life anymore,I will mention them here )

I most certainly would begin with my father.He isn't the perfect father or my idol or my daddy strongest. On the contrary he's just the opposite.He has had a life full of illness and struggles -with dependence on morphine , rehab for the same and a failed marriage! Actually,that was what led to him losing a grip over his life. The one thing that this man never stopped doing was ,loving us. Amidst all the chaos and hell breaking lose every now and then in our house, this man did whatever he could to make sure we two sisters were protected and taken care of.

I will always owe a huge part of who I am( outspoken, blunt, outgoing, confidant) to him. Had he not allowed us to make our mistakes and learn from them, I would have not been who I am today! He has tried several jobs in his life, failed at some , succeeded at most.. made huge houses and loads of enemies on the way but, he held on to his family. His friends and family used him,deceived him and fooled him several times but,he always kept giving .I still remember this one incident when one of his close friend had lost their father in a car accident,the two sons didn't wish to climb down the mountains to identify the body but,my dad did!Only,years later when my dad's father passed away they didn't even turn up for the funeral or the prayer meets.Just unlucky in love and with friends but lucky to have us I say 😉❤️

My dad is very short tempered ,very childish and very stubborn too but,what makes him so special is his heart.His personality was very intimidating and kept most of the morons away from us 😉
He hasn't been loved the way he deserved and I just wish that however long I can ,I should love him and my kids should love him as much as we can.No matter how much we fight and argue,I can't do a single day without video calling him and seeing his sweet smile.
