Something light hearted

Well...not wanting my blog to sound like a daily journal I’ll start with more “self expression”
I want to give out some unwanted tips for men who are trying to please women (in vain)
1) The way to a woman’s heart isn’t through her stomach (like they say for men) or her pants but through her head. In my case ‘most definitely’ – women these days are smart enough to distinguish men trying to make their ways through various such places ;-).Honestly you make a decent, intelligent conversation with a woman and you can have her hooked on to you for hours together but if you spend hours together without evoking anything meaningful then there’s no point! You connect with her thoughts and you connect with her!
2) Women don’t like getting into relationships with men who are too fast and appear too desperate to get into a thing with them.They are put off by men who are just unaware of what they speak, who appear to be lost or for that matter just don’t know where their life is headed. I mean of course they’ll guide you as a ‘friend’ but would think ten times before getting into a relationship with you. It is one thing to be confused about making choices and it is another to just not know.
3) Women like to be ‘known.’ They’d want you to ask them what are their likes and dislikes. What do they like doing. You can have different interests in life but, once in a while you should want to participate in each others’ ‘interests.’ For e.g., women would sit and watch the endless matches with you or whatever you like to watch on wildlife on National Geographic. But once in a while they’d want you to come out to watch a play or a concert with them or if nothing else just watch a nice mushy movie!(P.S- That once in a while doesn’t mean once in a year, could be once in a week or two depending on how frequently you meet)
4) They like to be ‘listened to’ and not just ‘heard.’ And it’s only fair that if they give you a listening ear at times when you are letting out your work frustrations or cribbing about your boss/day/work that they get the same attention when they have something to say.(P.S.-even if it’s just bitching about some girl she met at a salon)
5) Women get floored when a man opens the door for her (though there are countable few who’d do this now- at least I don’t know any such) So, ok even if you can’t hold the door for her just don’t slam it on her face and walk ahead! That’s really bad manners! ;-)
6) Independent women, blah whatever, women like it when the man accompanying them foots the bill! Period!
7) Women like to be driven around and not drive the man around!And even if they are driving you around or are driving back alone at night,its courtsey to check whether they've reached home safely!Even they do it when u r driving late...well atleast I know all such kind women ;-)
8) She’d like you to listen to her poetry etc however absurd you might think it is! Don’t they listen to your crap about investments and balance sheets etc?
9) Women like to once in a while get out and let their hair down with their girl pals! It’s only fair that if you have your sessions with your guy buddies you don’t create a fuss when she desires to do that. It’s unfair to plan an outing when she has planned something with her girl gang and then expect her to give it up and ditch her friends.
10) They like to go out and have a good time with you and your friends and expect you to do the same with hers’ too( irrespective how much you dislike her friend with a squealing voice or the girl dislikes your friend who drinks like a tanker)
11) Women love to be surprised(not shocked please, so make sure you know the diffrnc btwn the two)once in a while if u bring her those flowers or a thoughtful present(doesn't have to be diamonds for presents) u sure get bonus points;-)
12)Women love compliments so the more the better-they could be anything from the way she looks in a particular dress to how well she has cooked a particular meal,to how nice she looks in her pix etc etc.
13)And lastly, women like to be pampered and taken care of. They tuck you in like babies when you aren’t well and it’s only fair that you return the same warmth (or even more) when they need it. They might be needing it more often than you but hey, so what?!

Honestly,the thing about women is love them and you’ll be blessed with more love than you deserve and annoy them and you’ll be bestowed with more crap than you can handle!So take your pick accordingly.
